Similar Diversity is an information graphic which opens up a new perspective at the topics of religion and faith by visualizing the Holy Books of five world religions. Commonalities and differences of Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Judaism are shown up in this data-visualization.
The visual’s basis is an objective text analysis of the Holy Scriptures, and works without any interpretations from the creators’ side. Despite – or even because of this abstraction, the artworks are not only working on an informal but also on an emotional level. The viewers should be inspired to think about own prejudices and current religious conflicts.

Hello, my name is…

// April 25th, 2008 // No Comments » // Art, Family, Life

Hi, my name is Jeremy. I am a graphic and web designer currently living in Florence, Alabama. I am currently working on a redesign of the University of North Alabama’s website. Go there now to see what it looked like before they hired me, and visit again in September when the new site is launched. There will be some amazing and drastic changes.

This is my second attempt at a blog, (the first didn’t fare so well due to zero updates by myself) and I think this one should work out for me. I’ve got a better handle on what I want the purpose of this blog to be. There will be three (3) main categories that I will post under. Family, Life, Art.

FAMILY: Posts and updates about my family and friends. Mostly about my 2 daughters, my wife, and myself for those family members living in Washington to stay informed.

LIFE: This category will be general posts about life in Florence, Alabama as well as my thoughts and opinions of certain topics and current events.

ART: This is the category where I will update my current design projects, and post links to different websites that inspire me.
