This was simply a quick sketch exercise where I get my ideas down as fast as I can. I spent about 15 minutes on this simple type treatment for our family.

Shoals Products was in search of a versatile logo that appealed to the specific demographic that they were targeting. Conveying siding and/or shutters, the bold solution to their needs helps them stand out above the competition.
Hawkins Law Group
When immigration attorney, Elizabeth Hawkins, needed a logo for her law group, I worked closely with her to develop a design with a mixture of both modern and traditional use of type. The mark itself is an obvious “H”, and a closer look hints toward a more abstract representation of a bridge, and also acting as a shadow for the “H”.

When Immigration attorney, Kati Ortiz, opened up her own law office in Seattle, Washington, she hired me to design a unique logo that would appeal to her diverse clientele. Full disclosure: This is my sister 🙂
Edgemont United Methodist Church
Edgemont United Methodist Church needed a modern, up-to-date replacement for a logo they had been using for years. Playing off their very unique A-frame sanctuary, the new Edgemont logo has become a timeless classic.

The client wanted the boundary outline of Lawrence County, Alabama incorporated into the logo in some way. We took that shape, as well as an adult hand reaching up to help a child’s hand and created quite a wonderful mark for the Lawrence County CPC.
